Name the real achievement
Write down what happened: a student read aloud, recommended a book, or kept going through a tricky chapter. Specific observations make better letters than generic praise.

Write as the teacher, librarian, or your own reading mascot. The original Reading Owl letterhead adds a little celebration without tying the message to a commercial book character.

Make the next step inviting
End with a question or a small invitation: what would they like to read next? Review the tone and details, then download the letter or a class set.
