Classroom Edition / Class Roster to Printable Letters

Turn your class list into a stack of letters worth keeping.

Your roster is the starting point, not another form to fill out for every letter. Import a CSV, review the names, and choose the students for this occasion. The finished PDF keeps each letter on its own page so a class set is straightforward to print and hand out.

No card required for the trial. Classroom Edition: $25/year, up to 35 students.

From a classroom moment to a printed letter

  1. 1

    Prepare a simple CSV

Start with a Name column. Optional interests or notes can give the message a personal detail. Export only the information you need for this letter; a student ID or home address is not needed.

  2. 2

    Review before generating

Check spelling and remove duplicate rows in your CSV before importing. The import preview shows the first 10 rows. After importing, review your student list and select the right students before generating a batch.

  3. 3

    Review the actual PDF

Open the downloaded file before printing. PDFs use US Letter pages; on A4 choose Fit to printable area. Print a test page if your school printer has a large unprintable border.

Example wording

Fictional example; check your own details before sharing.

Dear Jordan, I noticed the patience you brought to a difficult new story. You stopped, thought about it, and tried another way. That is something to feel proud of. I look forward to the next question you bring to our reading group. With encouragement, Your teacher

Make it feel personal

  • Keep a clean copy of your original roster.
  • Use a short note about an achievement instead of sensitive student records.
  • Check your school’s policies before entering student information into an online service.

Does the free example upload a real roster?

No. It uses three fictional students and prepared sample wording in your browser. Create a teacher account to import your own CSV and generate a class set.

Each student has a different moment to celebrate.

  2. 2. Choose the letterhead

Both designs leave a clear area for the message.

  3. 3. Preview and download

The preview is the actual three-page PDF.
